Abstract

Married life is a crucial aspect of human life, considered the basis of social, mental, and emotional balance. In Vedic astrology, the planetary positions, aspects, and mutual position of the emotions are considered the main determinants of marital happiness. The purpose of this study is to understand to what extent the position and aspect of planets like the seventh house, Venus, Jupiter, Mars and Rahu/Ketu in the horoscope affect marital happiness. In this research, statistical and astrological analysis of horoscopes of 100 individuals was done, in which comparative study of the effects of various planetary combinations and aspects was done. The results showed that the auspicious aspect of Jupiter and Venus provides stability and happiness in marital life, whereas the inauspicious aspect of Mars, Rahu or Saturn increases the possibility of tension in marital life.
